15 Minute Makeup

It seems like time is always of the essence these days and to have an hour to sit down and do your makeup seems like an impossible luxury . However, looking great doesn't have to take a super long time. With the right tools and products you can be glammed up in the smallest amount of time. This is a look I wore for a night out with friends.

Read on to see how I did this look

Base
First, start with a primer to help your foundation go on better and will also help your makeup last longer - a primer is always a must for me. Using a brush such as the Real Techniques buffing brush or expert face brush to buff your foundation is a really time efficient way to apply liquid foundation and creates a flawless finish. After applying concealer (if you do), lightly sweep a translucent finishing powder over your face to set your foundation and you're done!

  • Benefit Porefessional Primer
  • CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation
  • Maybelline Mineral Power Translucent Finishing Powder (discontinued)
  • Maybelline Fit Me concealer
  • Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer

Face
A bronzer is a must for me when going out and Hoola is the perfect matte for a little bit of contouring and bronzing - the brush it comes with is actually really great and super convenient. Go with a natural blush and highlight using the same brush such as the Real Techniques blush brush or a shimmery blush would be perfect - a blush and highlight in one!

  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour blush in Natural Beauty
  • MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Superb

Eyes
When I'm in a rush I always keep my eyes nice and simple. Cream eyeshadows are easy to apply and you can make it look like you've put in a lot of effort by just applying all over the lid and blending in with your fingers - for this look I used an eyeshadow stick to line my top lashes and blend upwards but the Maybelline Colour Tattoos are another of my favourite products for a quick and easy eye look. A nude eyeliner in the waterline will instantly open up and brighten yours eyes and finally, finish off with lots of coats of your favourite mascara.

  • Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Stick in Bad Girl Bronze
  • NARS Larger Than Life Long wear Eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte
  • Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

Lips
I'm obsessed with matte lip products at the moment and they are a good choice for going out as most are quite long wearing and seem to last a lot longer when eating.

  • ChiChi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick in Simply Stunning
And you're done! I hope you liked this look and let me know what you're favourite easy makeup look is.
Have a fabulous week!
xx Catherine
